NSW: Suspected murder in Katoomba

SYDNEY, Aug 31 AAP - Police say a 35-year-old man whose body was discovered in the
Blue Mountains died a violent death.

Duty officer Mark McCallum of Katoomba police said officers acting on information discovered
the man's body in a Katoomba house, west of Sydney, about 2pm yesterday.

"He died a fairly violent death," he said.

The death is being treated as suspicious.

Blue Mountains detectives, crime agencies and forensic police were carrying out investigations
into the death, he said.
